37 wks!
little tidus is 37 wks oh i went for the routine check-up today. decided to donate the cord blood after delivery. (everyone should do it really.. if you are not keeping it in a private bank)
waited for 2 hours before i could get myself checked. T_T the doctor had an emergency- he went to deliver someone's baby. awwww someone's joy popped out today =))
for some particular reason.. Tidus' scrotum seems to be the thrill of every ultrasound. Doctor: you know what's this me: the scrotum doctor: YES IT IS GETTING BIGGER DO YOU SEE IT...
( and such was the conversation between the ultrasoundist and I the previous time... and the previous previous time)
Tidus is ~2.8kg now... and I am 55.5kg today. I totally hate the scale. albumin traces in my urine but that's normal in most pregnancies... no glucose ( awesome.. more durians anyone..)
ohoh all through my pregnancy... there's like a little bump sticking out of my stomach... and well i assumed it is Tidus' tiny head right.... WRONG. today Dr told me.. oh that's his butt. umm ok.

knitting... and the knitted brains
knitting seems to be like THE hobby to pick up when you are pregnant. i guess it's the overflowing love you suddenly feel towards the new addition that you need to find a way to express it, and well knitting seems to be the answer decided to knit a sweater for nubcakes 'cos i thought well i'm in love and all... and i got talked into doing a baby's blanket too... so here i am doing both at a time. ( i really have alot of time btw)
oh and the knitted brain... people are so stereotypical. being 20, and a mother-to-be doesn't mean i conceived out of wedlock. that day i was in a cab... and the uncle was like... OH SO YOU RODE THE BUS BEFORE PAYING... =.= alex said:" u shld tell the uncle : UNCLE I ALSO SIT UR TAXI ALR THEN PAY MONEY RIGHT" lol

36 weeks
i am now into my 36th weeks of pregnancy. heavily pregnant. "heavily" literally. i've gained a good 10kg over the past months. it is quite scary actually, to see your weight increase every month. something i still am not used to seeing. =(
it is so difficult to sleep in a comfortable position these days. i need three pillows now. one for my legs, and one to support the tummy. been getting frequent leg cramps, neck aches, stiff shoulders etc.
these days Tidus craves durians, fizzy drinks, and dimsums. am starting to get a little worried for my own poor kidneys.. :S
oh oh i get to drink coconut juice now! loveloveloveloveeeeeeee
i cant wait for my pig trotters in vinegar after delivery!!!!
oh and just to clarify... it is a common misconception that high sugar intake leads to pregnancy diabetes. (i'm too lazy to elaborate on the pathology of gestational diabetes. wikipedia is just a webpage away)
that means durians and my fizzy drinks are here to stay =))))

really exhausted today sleeping seems like the only thing i can do now.
tidus is in head down position.. all psyched up to come out soon
yesterday i was watching this channel 8 programme, featuring diana ser and her second pregnancy and it was about how she thinly escaped miscarriage twice. how her baby did not grow. how she desperately wanted to fight on for her baby
i could feel my throat constrict. i think it is hormones. i felt like crying. i worried about tidus' growth for a bit. i'm not the most faithful in following diets i dont drink milk, dont eat eggs, nor pig's liver.... i dont have a balanced meal. skip most breakfasts... i wonder for a moment, if tidus was suffering inside of me
so it seems understandable that his kicks are so violent afterall huh. little tidus showing me his fist in the ultrasound.
he is one adorable one. caught a glimpse of him yawning. i am most certain i'm going to have another alex lookalike.
excitement is turning into fear now. fear of labor pains. fear of not being able to cope with the new addition.
i'm going to have a little terror running about!
the other month i told nubcake... i'm going to have two babies to look after soon. he said... well just remember one of them is bringing the bacon home.. hurr.
and just for all those who havent heard, Tidus is a Final Fantasy hero. yes. you read correctly.
